The Shippon was formerly a cowshed and is approached from the cobbled yard by a rustic stone staircase. Entrance is through a stable door to an oak fitted kitchen and cottage style lounge/diner with picture window onto the ornamental duck pond. The ceilings are heavily beamed throughout. There is a new central heating system which will keep you warm and cosy with unlimited hot water. The Bathroom was recently refitted with bath with shower over off an inner hall and two bedrooms sleeping up to four people. There is a private garden 30 metres from the cottage with table and chairs and wonderful views down our valley to the Brendon Hills.
You are most welcome to walk in the fields across the farm, we will let you know where we have livestock when you arrive.
Fantastic place to get away. A very cosy, well equipped, Homely home from home. Great hosts that we highly recommend.

Everything was as we expected and more – just what we wanted…peace and quiet and no disturbances! Chris and Freya were very welcoming and the cottage comes with a very extensive guide book which means you don’t have to spend any time on the internet finding out where to go (if you’ve got no idea before you get there). Nothing much else to say apart from it’s got the best and most comfiest bed I’ve EVER slept in!
